Your homework is:
Finish Behavior of Gases Activity. You are to do an experiment on your own to answer question #5.
Take 2 drinking straws and a glass of water. Hold 1 straw in the cup, in the water. Hold the other straw next to the cup, not in the water. Attempt to drink out of both straw at the same time. Is it possible? Why or Why not (think pressure).

Also be finishing research papers, due on MAY 4, 2007.

4/23/2007 Periods 2 and 3

Homework tonight is to finish today's gas law lab. Remember you MUST do the activity with the 2 straws, one inside the glass of liquid, 1 outside. Try drinking out of both straws at the same time. Your research papers are due May 4, 2007.

4/17/2007 Periods 2 and 3

Today we began Unit 4a in your textbook. We started learning about Atmospheric gases. Your homework is to do problems from page 333 # 1-5, 7-9
Remember your recipe and recipe report are due on Thursday.
Include in the report you will hand in along with the dish you made:
The recipe: Ingredients and directions
Nutritional values for dish (vitamins, carbohydrates, fats, proteins)
What makes dish healthy (use what you learned)?
What makes dish unhealthy?

Lastly, final draft of your research paper are due May 3, 2007 no exceptions

4/16/2007 Period 6

Your only new homework is to complete the chromatography lab handout from today.
Remember on Wednesday, your recipe and recipe report are due.

Hi class,
Your homework tonight was to do problems #21-24 on page 642.

Your second assignment is to take the list of food additives you created in class from the food labels shown on the screen, and write in the reason the additive is used. Your list should have 18 food additives. I added a link to a website containing a list of food additives. Look to the left for the link.

Your recipes are due next Wednesday for period 6 and Thursday for Periods 2 and 3. Remember you must have the report, and the dish to participate.

And lastly, your final papers are due the 1st week of May.

No report that day: you will take a written test on Unit 7
